金振民，男，汉族，1941年09月21日出生，任职于中国地质大学（武汉）地球科学学院，教授，博士生导师。
主要研究领域为：主要从事构造地质学、地质力学和地球深部物质性质的研究和教学工作。在上地幔部分熔融实验、岩石圈流变学、超高压榴辉岩流变律、中国大陆科学钻的岩石物理性质和西藏罗布莎铬铁矿成因机理等方面取得了重要研究成果。
